A Macclesfield housing association is revamping its leadership team with a string of new appointments.

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust (PPHT) has named Mark Howden — previously director of place and deputy chief executive — as its interim chief executive. This follows former chief executive, Tim Pinder’s decision to step down after a period away from the business.

Meanwhile Justine Gore has been appointed as the organisation’s new assistant director of development. The organisation is also in the process of recruiting a new executive director of operations work alongside existing director of resources, Julie Booker.

“At the Trust, we are moving forward and continuing to provide new, safe and affordable homes as part of our commitment to be a great landlord,” said John Hudson, PPHT’s chair.

“I have been very impressed with the leadership qualities that Mark has demonstrated during the recent period of change and we are confident that the new executive team under his direction are best placed to take forward the Trust’s ambitious plans for the future.”
