ONWARD Living, the sales arm of social landlord Onward, has released three North West developments that between them deliver 30 new homes.
The Elizabethan Terrace development (main picture) in Whitefield, Greater Manchester, offers 15 two- and three-bedroom homes for shared ownership – all of which the company says are now available to reserve off-plan.
The terraced and semi-detached homes are being built on the site of the former Elizabethan pub on Ribble Drive and are due for completion in May 2020, with a show home set to launch at the end of March.
“We are delighted to launch these much-needed affordable homes on our exciting new development in Whitefield,” said Sandy Kelly, Onward Living’s head of sales.
“Elizabethan Terrace is in a great location with access to fantastic schools, great transport links and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants on nearby Bury New Road – making it the perfect place to call home.
“We’ve already had a huge amount of interest in these homes and expect them to be snapped up quickly, so we recommend that prospective buyers register their interest sooner rather than later to avoid missing out.”
Meanwhile, 12 one- and two-bedroom apartments have been released for sale in Aigburth, Liverpool.
The apartments at Clifton Place are available for shared ownership, with prices starting from £50,000 for a 40% share.
This latest launch follows the success of Onward Living’s Clifton Gardens development on nearby Colebrooke Road, where 20 people have already purchased and moved in.
“Following the popularity of our homes at Clifton Gardens, we’re looking forward to showcasing our latest apartments to home-hunters in the area,” Kelly added. “With the combination of a fantastic location and the high specification finish of these stylish homes, we’re confident they won’t be disappointed.”
Clifton Place is due for completion in April, when a show home will also be launched.
Completing the trio of new Onward Living developments is Willow Green in Scarisbrick, West Lancashire.
Situated on Southport Road, it’s described as an exclusive development of just four semi-detached three-bedroom homes, priced at £68,250 for a 35% share. Due for completion this spring.
These latest developments come as part of Onward’s ambitious plans to step up its output across the region, with more homes currently being built in Wirral, Runcorn and Cheshire, including a landmark 447-home site in Crewe.
