The largest Housing Association across the Midlands is raising the profile of its services with ITN Business and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).

ITN’s bespoke production hub has produced  ‘Reinventing Homes’, a news-style programme featuring key industry interviews and news-style reports along with sponsored editorial profiles.

Platform Housing Group are proud to be involved with their Shared Ownership and Supported Housing focus, highlighting the importance of these services before, during and after the pandemic. The news-style reports anchored by journalist Sian Williams, look at how the housing sector has adapted to address the challenges of today and bring about an understanding of the critical work for the benefit of a wide range of customers.

Platform took part in two of the news-style reports and they have been launched today (Tuesday June 28) at Europe’s largest Housing festival and annual conference, CIH’s Housing 2022 in central Manchester.

Chief Executive for Platform Housing, Elizabeth Froude, who also appears in the news reports, said: “This was an important project for us at Platform and we were pleased to have worked with ITN Business and the CIH who really concentrated on the major issues affecting lots of people. The pandemic raised various challenges for us and we recognised those enabling us to offer help to our customers and key workers when they needed it most. It also raises the awareness of shared ownership and its benefits, and the level of investment in our supported housing acknowledges how crucial this service is to many young people”.

The programmes can be viewed on Platforms website at www.platformhg.com and across their social media channels LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
