STOCKPORT Homes Group has won gold in the Health & Wellbeing of its People category at the UK Employee Experience Awards 2019.
The winners were announced at the Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel earlier this week.
The awards recognise and celebrate the measures and initiatives organisations take to develop a productive workforce and strengthen the company from within.
Stockport Homes won the award for its inclusive approach to health and wellbeing, particularly its trailblazing ‘active listeners’ group, formed with the purpose of ‘providing first aid for mental health’.
“At Stockport Homes we are committed to driving a culture of positive health and wellbeing to support both our employees and our organisational aims,” said Robin Burman, chair of Stockport Homes’ board. “It’s a delight to receive gold in this category and be recognised for our initiative.”
